Perch occupies the upper floors of a 1920s building on South Hill Street, looking over Pershing Square and the Downtown towers beyond. The format is French — a proper dining room and bar rather than a nightclub with a view — spread across an interior floor, two outdoor patios and a rooftop terrace above. Fireplaces run on the patios after dark, brunch takes the weekend mornings, and the sixteenth-floor rooftop opens later in the day for drinks above the skyline.
Luxio Perspective
Most rooftops in Downtown sell the view and little else. Perch also sells dinner, which is why it holds a table worth keeping past the first drink.
