A Premium SUV is recommended for comfort and luggage capacity. The self-drive section runs one way, from Los Angeles on Day 4 to San Francisco on Day 8; private transfers cover arrival at LAX and departure from SFO.
Where do we stay for Yosemite?
One night in Fresno, reached by way of Sequoia National Park and the General Sherman Tree. Yosemite Valley is about two hours' drive away and is visited the next day, on the way to San Francisco.
