Village Grill

A seasonal open-air grill counter beside the Village Store in Yosemite Village, serving burgers, grilled sandwiches and hot dogs to outdoor tables.

Village Grill is the warm-weather grill counter in Yosemite Village, set immediately next to the Village Store. The operator describes grilled sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs and vegetarian options served with expansive outdoor seating, and the National Park Service lists the same range, noting that it is enjoyed at outdoor seating next to the Village Store and that the outlet opens seasonally. It is counter service with an outdoor deck rather than an indoor dining room, which is precisely why it runs only in season: there is no enclosed seating to fall back on. For a traveller it is the straightforward hot-meal option in the middle of the valley on a summer afternoon, a few steps from the Village Store for anything else needed, and it pairs naturally with a day spent on the valley floor.
